As Consultant Defence you support demanding projects at the Bundeswehr and in the defence-adjacent industry. You work at the intersection of procurement, organisation, transformation, and technology. In doing so, you operate confidently in various client and project contexts and combine structured Bundeswehr-related working methods with modern consulting approaches. Since a significant part of your work may take place on-site at the customer's premises, you are willing to travel.

Your Tasks

  • Analyse requirements in procurement, organisation, and transformation projects.
  • Work on Bundeswehr-related procurement processes, in particular CPM and PBN.
  • Support technological initiatives, such as process digitalisation, system rollouts, or coordination between specialist departments and IT.
  • Prepare decision-making frameworks, concepts, and management documents.
  • Structure complex content and present it in a target-audience-appropriate manner.
  • Work with public and industrial clients in interdisciplinary project teams.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, specialist departments, project teams, and decision-making levels.
  • Contribute to change and optimisation initiatives in stable and dynamic organisational environments.

Required Skills

  • Completed degree with a technical, business, or comparable focus.
  • At least five years of experience in complex projects, ideally in public, security-adjacent, or defence-adjacent environments.
  • Understanding of Bundeswehr procurement processes, in particular CPM and PBN.
  • Experience in organisational, transformation, or technology-related projects.
  • Confident use of project, process, and organisational methods and common consulting frameworks.
  • Ability to combine structured Bundeswehr-related working methods with agile or hybrid consulting approaches.
  • Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to undergo a security vetting procedure in accordance with the SÜG.

Desired Skills

  • Excellent communication skills and strong client focus.
  • Structured, independent, and reliable working style.
  • High results-orientation, integrity, and resilience.
  • Constructive conflict and feedback handling skills and interest in demanding defence projects.
