IT Operation Expert – Windows Environment & Clients

As IT Operation Expert for Windows environments and clients, you work on building, operating, and further developing a new IT environment for defence applications. You manage servers, clients, application packages, and central Microsoft services. The role requires willingness to undergo security vetting at Ü1 and potentially Ü2 level.
Your Tasks
- Administer servers and clients based on Microsoft Windows.
- Create application packages for client installation.
- Develop and implement automations.
- Support users with questions and problems.
- Ensure system availability within defined SLAs.
Required Skills
- Completed degree or apprenticeship in computer science or a comparable technical qualification; career changers with comparable experience are welcome.
- Confident use of Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 11.
- Experience implementing and operating Microsoft core services such as AD DS, SCCM, WSUS, and KMS.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as GPOs.
- Good knowledge of network technologies and network tools.
- Excellent German language skills at C1 level and good English language skills at B1 level.
- Willingness to undergo security vetting at Ü1 and potentially Ü2 level.
Desired Skills
- Good knowledge of automation with PowerShell or comparable solutions.
- Good knowledge of authentication methods and tools such as MS PKI, Kerberos, SAML, or OAuth.
- Initial experience with BSI Grundschutz.
