IT Service Engineer - Cloud & Workplace
Berlin Full Time
As IT Service Engineer for Cloud & Workplace, you provide technical quality assurance for the services delivered by the managed service provider. You review incidents, changes, configurations, and rollouts, verify that architecture and security requirements have been implemented correctly, and support critical escalations, spot checks, and operational ISMS work with a hands-on mindset.
Your Tasks
- Provide technical quality assurance for the services delivered by the MSP.
- Review and assess incidents and root-cause analyses.
- Review and assess changes and implementations.
- Ensure that architecture requirements, security requirements, and BSI Grundschutz measures are implemented correctly.
- Perform spot checks and plausibility checks in Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Analyse logs, configurations, and operational processes.
- Support critical incidents, escalations, and rollouts such as Intune, Autopilot, and Microsoft 365 services.
- Provide hands-on support on site when needed.
- Contribute to the operation and further development of the ISMS.
Required Skills
- Experience in IT operations for modern Microsoft environments.
- Strong technical understanding of Microsoft 365, especially Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Strong technical understanding of Entra ID.
- Strong technical understanding of endpoint management with Intune and Autopilot.
- Basic understanding of Azure, especially IaaS, identity, and networking.
- Ability to critically review technical implementations.
- Experience analysing system configurations, logs, troubleshooting processes, and incident or change processes.
- Basic understanding of IT security and BSI Grundschutz.
- Hands-on mindset and structured way of working.

- You act as the technical counterweight to the service provider with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.
