IT Service & Provider Manager
Berlin Full Time
As IT Service & Provider Manager, you steer the external managed service provider in day-to-day operations and projects. You are responsible for service quality, SLA and KPI tracking, and the continuous improvement of delivered services. You translate business requirements into practical IT services, manage escalations, oversee Azure and Microsoft 365 costs, and contribute to the build-out and operation of the ISMS in line with governance and regulatory requirements.
Your Tasks
- Manage our external IT service provider (MSP) in daily operations and project work.
- Take responsibility for service quality, SLA and KPI controlling, and continuous improvement.
- Capture, structure, and prioritise requirements from the business functions.
- Translate business requirements into implementable IT services.
- Manage escalations for incidents and service issues.
- Control and monitor IT costs, especially for Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
- Ensure compliance with IT governance requirements and regulatory standards, especially BSI Grundschutz.
- Support the build-up and operation of an ISMS together with the MSP.
Required Skills
- Experience managing IT service providers or outsourcing models.
- Ability to set priorities and enforce them.
- Understanding of modern IT services, especially Microsoft Azure fundamentals across IaaS and PaaS.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Entra ID.
- Understanding of role and permission models.
- Experience with IT service management, for example in ITIL-oriented environments.
- Basic understanding of IT governance, compliance, and BSI Grundschutz.
- Confident presence in escalation situations and in coordination with external partners.
